Giveaway! – ¡Un sorteo!
Since the beginning of the school year, I have been playing with one of the art teachers at school. The last time that I had used the pottery wheel was when I was twelve years old, and it has been fun to rediscover it.
My pottery turned out better than I had expected. I guess it was better than Douglas expected as well, because when I brought it home he exclaimed, “That’s like stuff you would see in a store!” I am not an expert, but the bowls are well shaped.
What I am not yet able to do is to replicate a style of bowl. Each one comes out as an original. It would be great to have a set, but what I have is more like similar collections of colors.
The pottery has been fun to make, but I am not sure where to put it all. I was pondering that, when I had an idea. Why not give it away? However, I only want to give my pieces to people that want them. I am not going to foist them on anyone!

They are all fabulous! I love #4 the best. You are so talented! It’s nice to find a talent you didn’t know (or forgot) you had 🙂
You are too sweet. #4 is yours! Send me an email with your address and I will send it to you.
WOAH i Just saw this! WOOHOO!
I love them all and the hands that made them. 1 + 4 are my faves.
Love you too! I am going to send you #1.
and I love all of them!
Sorry, I love you, but you cannot keep all of them.
I’m a dish diva and I think they’re marvelous. I would take any one but I find 3 and 5 especially interesting. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music
Send me an email with your address and let me know which of the two you prefer. I definitely think that #5 would match better with the colors in your house.
They are all lovely. The variation in colors, the “drips”, the pretty shapes. Just wanted to compliment your pieces.
OMG I love my bowl SO MUCH!!! It was waiting for me when I got home today – I love it so much more than even the picture, and the picture of it was awesome. Thank you SO SO SO MUCH!!!
Yay! I am glad you like it and shocked it arrived so quickly.
Jessica, I am so impressed! I saw your lovely bowl over on Jo’s blog so came over to check out the others. I don’t need a bowl, too much pottery as it is, but oh my, the glaze inside #6 is lovely. You surely have a knack for this craft.
Hi Barbara, thank you so much! I am sorry that it has taken me so long to respond to you. I have been traveling. I hope that you will return to the blog again!
Yes, I am following you now. Just read your Argentina post – marvelous!
