Quick Change – Un cambio rápido
For the past four years the chandelier in our dining room has been the one that hung in my grandmother’s dining room for years. I love having that piece of my past in my own home.
However, the light fixture has been falling apart for a while and is now desperately in need of fixing. I want to get it fixed before it breaks beyond all repair.
Our neighbor kindly gave me this lamp to use while mine is being repaired. It was given to him by another neighbor. We live in a friendly neighborhood!
It only took Douglas a couple of minutes to make the switch. He has experience changing light fixtures.
We like the new light. Douglas would like to leave it here and put my grandmother’s in the kitchen. What do you think?
Talking about Douglas, he is doing well. He should be arriving in Idaho today. His trip has been good, and he has been sending me some interesting pictures.
Hablando de Douglas, está bien. Él estará llegando a Idaho hoy. Todo va bien en su viaje. Me ha estado mandando unas fotos interesantes.
Happy Homemaking!
I think a need a long-shot photo of the new lamp in the space to make a decision. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music
You’re right. I will try to add one today.
I like the “new” lamp, but if your emotionnally attached to the other, you should keep it, in the kitchen or elsewhere. The chandelier I have above my table is from my grand-father.
I will definitely keep my grandmother’s fixture. The question is whether to put it in the kitchen or dining room. I wrote another post explaining it a little bit better. https://capeofdreams.com/what-do-you-think-que-piensas-tu/
they’re both beautiful! love the pic of the sneaker tree LOL!
I thought that picture was really funny!
