Sprouting!
My first experiment with starting seeds indoors is working. They have sprouted!
Well, everything but the peppers has sprouted. I am hoping that is because peppers just take a little longer than other vegetables. Does anyone know if that is true?
It will not be long until these guys go in the ground.
We also have a new little raspberry plant. Our town has a garden Facebook page, and a neighbor was offering to give it away when she thinned her bushes.
We already have raspberries, but they are in a shady area and I have been wanting to try put a bush in the sun.
Speaking of what else we have in the garden here are a couple of pictures.
I could not get a good angle because our neighbor’s landscaper always parks in front of our house. It drives me crazy.
Of course, any picture with a cute puppy is a good one. Can you believe that Kahlua has made two appearances on the blog in a week? She must be getting over her shyness.
Happy Homemaking!
I think peppers do take a little longer than beans and tomatoes. Your tulip border looks so cheery. Keep up the good work. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music
I have not given up on those peppers yet. I am determined to have many pepper plants.
Your flower border is beautiful! Such a cheering view to come home to!
Thanks! Tulips are my favorite flower.
My peppers are always the last to sprout. I find that placing them on top of the refrigerator helps them to germinate better. They like the soil around 70 degrees to sprout. I love your tulips. That a flower we would like to add more of to our garden. Thanks for linking up at the Tuesday Garden Party.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I have been missing the linky party that I used to frequent at Tootsie Time and have been looking for a replacement. I will be coming by your page more frequently!
Wow, beautiful! Love all the colors of tulips and your other spring blooms, as well! I have heard that peppers take a long time to sprout too.
