Thanksgiving
It is hard to believe that tomorrow is December. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. Ours was great, but I need a vacation from my vacation. Thank goodness there are only three short weeks until Christmas break.
Our trip consisted of traveling ten and a half hours in the car with three small beasts. It was Ponche’s first trip. He cried for the first hour and a half before giving up and going to sleep. After that we only heard from him sporadically and for less time.
The next three days were spent with ten of the twelve nieces and nephews. One was with his mother and the other is studying in Edinburgh, Scotland this year. They were missed.
Before we were ready it was time to go home. The animals were not very happy to be back in the car, but Ponche was much quieter this time. He is already an experienced traveler.
I apologize for the short post, but I am too tired to write more. And tonight I need to start decorating for Christmas!
Happy Homemaking!

You are so right. I just wish that we lived closer to them, but it is great to see them on holidays.
A ten-hour trip is a big commitment! I’m glad you got to enjoy your family at Thanksgiving … it’s a special time!
and unfortunately, that is 10+ hours each way. Love seeing everyone, but damn…
The trip is always worth it in the end.
