You Asked for It
On Monday, I asked for your advice and you gave it in spades. Thank you!
Therefore the next project on the docket is to finish Crème’s jungle gym. Here is where we are now. In the middle of the basement there is a wrapped post and a perch.
Now, we are working on the post on the side of the room.
I began wrapping it on Thanksgiving and then ran out of twine. Then, Douglas attached a couple of L-brackets to the post. Crème carefully monitored his work. Luckily, she gave it two paws up, which you should know is the highest possible.
Once I finish wrapping the post, the brackets on the post will be covered. Douglas will affix a board to the parts that stick out with several screws.
The last step will be to create a walkway from one post to the other, completing the kitty highway in our basement. I hope to have it finished this weekend. Wish us luck!
Happy Homemaking!
The bracket attachment is very clever. Douglas is a resourceful fellow. Lucky cat you are, Crème. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music
Thank you. She and I are both lucky to have such a great man in our lives. 🙂
I hope Crème knows how lucky she is!
I think that she has a pretty good idea! We remind her when she forgets.
That is a very clever way to do it! That’s much stronger than zip-ties [my go-to connect-anything-to-anything preference!].
Douglas is the genius that thought of that. He is my ideas man.
