Amaryllis by Morning
I fully intended on getting work done this weekend, but my cold came back with a vengeance. I never did get rid of the cough, but on Saturday I woke up all congested again. It was a miserable weekend.
So, I thought that I would share some more pretty pictures of our amaryllis, this time in the morning light. (And afternoon because those were the best pictures even though they did not make the best title for the post.)
Crème was upset that she has been absent from my last couple of posts and jumped in the picture. She might look sweet and innocent here, but she is about to pounce.
I realized while viewing the pictures that I should have straightened the pillow on the right. Oh well, here you see my house as it normally looks. It is impossible to keep the pillows straight because Crème climbs on them. At least that is what I am claiming. It is nice to have a cat to blame.
I am going to the doctor this afternoon, so hopefully I will be back in action soon.
In the meantime, I have been a little productive. I will have a surprise to share with you in a couple of days. Here is a little preview.
And here is another one. Any guesses what it could be?
I hope that you are all in better health than I am!
Happy Homemaking!
I hope you feel better soon! Get lots of rest! I’m sure Creme and Kahlua always make you feel better when you’re sick. Our kitties all congregate on the bed with us when we’re home sick – I love it! Your Amaryllis is so gorgeous! I wish I had one this year. I usually get one for Christmas but I didn’t this year. I’m going to guess that your mystery project is your dining room table refinish?
Kahlua likes to be in bed with me, but she stays at my feet. It is nice to have her there. Crème snuggles when she wants to, but that has been more often recently.
You are close about the mystery. It will be revealed tomorrow. 😉
Ooh–paws with claws! Can’t wait to see how it comes out! Meanwhile, take care of yourself and have Crème bring you a nice hot cup of tea. Hope you feel better already!
Crème refused to bring me tea, but she did snuggle me for a while until Menderes came home. Then, she just wanted to be on his lap. Traitor!
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Lovely photos! 🙂
Thank you! The amaryllis makes me feel better even if I am still not feeling 100%.
