Christmas Decor -the Rest of the House
One more day! I just have to get through one more day of classes before my vacation begins. I am so ready for a break.
The past three weeks have been very busy as they always are in the winter when I am coaching. To top it off, I have been sick for the past three days.
However, I just have to keep in mind that in a couple of hours it will all be over, and I can go back home, relax and enjoy the Christmas decorations around my house. I might even make myself this cocktail I have been dying for since I first read about it.
I normally decorate more than this, but this year I was lucky to just get my tree up. However, I did manage put up a few other things.
My living room is cozy and all of the lights and sparkling things make me happy.
I hope that you are all enjoying your home as much as I do mine. It is important to relax and appreciate our blessings at this time of year.
I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat. I love the Christmas ornaments under glass! I think my favorite part of Christmas decorations is the lights, too. They always brings back that “fairyland” feeling that I remember from childhood. By now you are on holiday break–ENJOY!!
Yay for a break! Unfortunately, I’m sick, so I need to focus on getting better.
