Getting Started in the Bathroom

A couple of days ago I came home and noticed that the plant that hangs in the bathroom was on the dining room table. What?

It only took me a moment to figure out what was going on. Turning into the living room confirmed what I suspected. The bathroom walls were emptied onto the living room couch and floor.

Douglas started painting the bathroom. Yay!

It is crazy that the wall is this dirty. You can tell exactly where the pictures had been hanging.

Soon it will look clean and fresh. Not a moment too soon. It looks particularly bad right now with nothing on the wall to distract the eye.

I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat. Because, what life is complete without a little Kahlua and Cream? I love arts and crafts of all kinds, and I refinish furniture as well. We are slowly redoing our entire house. • Hopefully, this will be a quick project with a big payload. Of course, that is what we always hope for, and you know how often it turns out that way!
