Which House? – ¿Qué casa? I

So, last week I informed you that we will be moving soon. This week, I am going to show you a three houses that were for sale in our area, and you will have to guess which one we picked. One of these houses was the first one that we fell in love with. It sold in a day… not to us. Another, is the one that we both fell in love with after and have the contract on. The last house is one that I went to look at on my own when I realized how serious Douglas was about wanting to move. I thought that it might be a less expensive option for us, but as soon as I saw it in person, I knew that it would never compare. Now I am going to share one house with you, and you can guess which it is. The descriptions and photos come from Trulia.

Mystery house

I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat. Because, what life is complete without a little Kahlua and Cream? I love arts and crafts of all kinds, and I refinish furniture as well. We are slowly redoing our entire house. 1. A+ to the copywriter of the ad. The wildlife, setting, etc are very appealing.
    Very dreamy summer landscape.

Since I am a worrywart, I wonder about the potential of flooding and children drowning.

  2. This is a spectacular setting! Kayaking from your own dock would be a big draw, and the house is beautiful inside. But, I’ll have to see the others before I guess. This is fun–I love looking at real estate, especially with someone else’s money. 🙂
